Proprietary Know-How & Trade Secrets Keydro’s competitive advantage extends beyond its patent portfolio. The company has developed proprietary know-how concerning hydrogen absorption and desorption dynamics, reactor configuration, thermal management and controlled hydrogen release, with further know-how being developed for integrated methanation applications. Selected operating parameters, processes and engineering solutions are intentionally retained as trade secrets in order to preserve their strategic and industrial value.

Keydro combines different forms of intellectual property protection according to the nature of each technological asset.
Patents protect technologies for which disclosure and enforceability provide strategic value, while proprietary know-how and trade secrets protect process knowledge, operating parameters and engineering solutions that derive their value from remaining confidential.
This combined approach protects Keydro’s technology across materials development, reactor engineering, hydrogen management and system control.
